How do I keep my socks in perfect condition?
After receiving your beautiful little bundle of joy, of course you want to enjoy it for as long as possible. All mothers know this of course already for a long time, but here are some tips from us.
1. Cold washing is worth its weight in gold
Keep the socks as cool as possible, preferably at a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. This will keep them nice and firm and won't shrink.
2. Do not iron, but let it dry
No idea who has time to iron socks, but we wanted to say it anyway: don't iron your socks. What you can do is let them dry on a clothesline. Don't put them in the dryer; they will fade faster and might shrink.
3. Keep your socks flat
This may sound strange, but storing your socks flat is better for their shape. Flattening them into a ball or folding them will cause them to lose their shape.
4. Wash inside out
The sweat from your feet is easily picked up by the washing machine. The print also lasts longer.
5. Keep the feet together
If you’re not paying attention, your washing machine will just start washing your favorite pair of socks. Nobody wants to be alone, not even your socks. Use a laundry bag for your socks and your socks will last a long time and be happy (together).
6. Was on color
You probably try to separate your laundry as much as possible into colors and whites. Do the same with socks; don’t throw your beautiful white pair in with the green and blue pairs.
7. Don't be a fool, don't use bleach
Laces and socks are the biggest enemies. The threads are damaged, which ultimately results in holes in your socks. Nobody wants that.
8. Always buy quality
Quality socks last for years, especially if you follow the above tips. Socks with a higher percentage of cotton, such as Sokkies (>80%), stay nice for a long time.

Long story short: it was cold and I used as little heat as possible. Treat your socks with love; they will do the same for your feet.
